1. One (1) positive case.
- Positive test comes from screening exercise from a person with no known contact to a positive patient or travel history.
As at 8th May, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 is EIGHTY-ONE (81) and is broken down as follows:
Active – 39 (Symptomatic – 8; Asymptomatic – 29; No details – 2)
Recovered – 41
Deceased – 1

2. The Emergency Evacuation Charter to Miami is confirmed for 15th May, 2020. Tickets for this flight can be purchased by visiting www.caymanairways.com or calling 949-2311.
This flight will also be returning with a limited number of Caymanians and Permanent Residents from a pre-approved list compiled by the Governor’s Office. To purchase tickets to return to the Cayman Islands from Miami, persons should call 345-949-2311 or 1-800-GCAYMAN.
