Synopsis of CIG Press Briefing
1. Three (3) positive case.
As at 5th May, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 is SEVENTY-EIGHT (78) and is broken down as follows:
Active – 47 (Symptomatic – 8; Asymptomatic – 37; In-patient – 2)
Recovered – 30
Deceased – 1

2. Beginning tomorrow, the nightly hard curfew (8pm – 5am) and full-day curfew on Sunday will be revoked for Little Cayman.
Additionally, the Shelter-in-Place (soft curfew) restrictions for Little Cayman will be amended to only include:
- Social distancing of 6ft (2m)
- Businesses required to limit the number of persons in their building to ensure social distancing
- Mandatory wearing of masks in enclosed spaces
Only essential personnel, as designated and approved by the District Commissioner and Medical Officer in Charge (Sister Islands), will be permitted to travel to Little Cayman.

3. Any businesses wishing to apply for a one-time exemption for Mother’s Day, should do so by visiting Curfew Time’s website at www.exploregov.ky/curfewtime.

4. Beginning tomorrow, AL Thompson’s and Kirk Home Centre will be permitted to allow curb side pick-up (drive-thru only) for all orders placed in advance.

5. Individuals and businesses will now be able to dispose of waste at the landfill site with special procedures.
- Only one (1) vehicle will be permitted at a time in to the landfill
- Businesses visiting the landfill should be exempted to operate and should be able to provide the exemption documentation
- The alphabetical system for surnames will be applied to individuals visiting the landfill
