Current applications will be reviewed and decided on by the Office of the Deputy Premier with future management by the Cayman Islands Customs & Border Control.
Approvals are subject to the following considerations:
-       Company has resumed business and the physical presence of the employee is required
-       Active work permit with sufficient time remaining and employer must be in good-standing with business licenses, pension, and health insurance policies.
-       Adequate capacity at a government-run isolation facility
-       Availability of inward flights
If the employee is deemed eligible to return, the employer must confirm they will be responsible for all costs associated with the isolation stay and it will be paid upfront. This includes additional costs associated with an extended stay past the required 14-day period.
The employee will also need to provide confirmation that private accommodation has been secured and the ability to pay for this accommodation.
