Synopsis of CIG Press Briefing

1.              Three (3) positive cases.
-       One (1) person had travel history
-       One (1) person had direct contact to a confirmed positive case
-       One (1) person contracted through community transmission (no direct link identified)

As at 28th April, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 is SEVENTY (73) and is broken down as follows:
Active – 62 (Symptomatic – 33; Asymptomatic – 24; In-patient – 5)
Recovered – 10
Deceased – 1

2.              The Department of Commerce & Investment will be contacting various businesses via email to seek employee information which will assist in the screening programme for COVID-19.
