Synopsis of CIG Press Briefing
1. NO ADDITIONAL POSITIVE TESTS. 48 tests all returned as negative.
The number of positive cases of COVID-19 remains at NINE* (9) with 1 deceased.
(*This number includes 1 preliminary positive result tested locally but still awaiting confirmation from CARPHA.)

2. New regulations for the Shelter-in-Place provisions have been completed. These regulations will provide guidance and instructions that all persons are to follow for the period of 5:00am Saturday – 5:00am Friday 3rd April.
All non-essential businesses will remain closed and all employees will be required to stay at home.
You will only be permitted to leave your residence for a specific reason such as gas station, pharmacy, supermarket, to walk your dog, or brief exercise.
The “Shelter-in-Place” regulations will be presented in detail by the Attorney General during tomorrow’s press briefing.

3. The Commissioner of Police once again pleads for cooperation during the curfew. Just a reminder – only approved employees of essential services are permitted to be outside of their homes and property boundaries until 5:00am Saturday 28th March.

4. We've been asked to "ease up on the memes" so as to not affect the concentration of our Government leaders.
