1. One further suspected case has tested positive*. This brings the total to 6 with 1 deceased. (*The positive result announced today is preliminary and has been sent to CARPHA for confirmation.)
2. The curfew will be increased in hours to cover the period of 7:00pm - 6:00am for the next ten (10) days - 3 April 2020.
3. All non-essential establishments are to be closed from 6:00am on 25 March 2020. All persons (non-essential) are required to shelter in place at their homes. Regulations will be released from Cabinet to define "essential establishments" and other exemptions.
4. No “groups” larger than TWO (2) persons allowed to congregate. This applies to all public spaces including beaches.

Update #2 - March 24 2020
1. Funerals are permitted to happen within the following parameters for attendees: 10 family members, 6 pallbearers, and the officiant of the funeral service.
2. "Shelter-in-Place" directive deferred and will not begin tomorrow until final essential services list is completed by Cabinet. It will be business as usual tomorrow, until advised otherwise.
3. The nationwide curfew has been adjusted to 7:00pm - 5:00am beginning tonight for TEN (10) days. ALL businesses must be closed to the public before 7:00pm. However, some personnel will be allowed to continue working during the curfew.
The respective staff in the following organisations will be exempt from the curfew if needed to work for legitimate reasons:
- All emergency services (Police Service, 911 Call Centre, Fire Service, Prison Service, private security firms and Customs & Border Control)
- Solid waste (Department of Environmental Health and Island Waste Carriers)
- Medical facilities (Health Services Authority, Health City Cayman Islands, CTMH Doctor's Hospital, ambulance services, and all private doctor's offices)
- Supermarkets in Grand Cayman, namely: Foster's, Hurley's Supermarket, Kirk Market, Cost U Less, and Priced Right.
- Supermarkets in Cayman Brac, namely: Billy's Supermarket, Kirkconnell's Supermarket, Market Place, and L&M Superstore
- Distributors (Progressive Distributors, CayIsles Enterprises Ltd (CEL), Cayman Distributors Group, Jacques Scott Group, Blackbeard's, Uncle Clem's Distributors, Heston Limited, Maedac Supply Ltd)
- Utilities & Infrastructure (Port Authority, OfReg, Water Authority - Cayman, Cayman Water Company, CUC, Cayman Brac Power & Light, C3, Logic, Digicel, and FLOW; private electricians, plumbers, and appliance technicians are exempt for legitimate emergencies)
- Fuel depots (SOL, Rubis, Home Gas, Clean Gas, Refuel, and Tib-Mart)
- Media houses
- Restaurants providing delivery service (ONLY UNTIL 9:00pm)
